Shipping FAQ's

{processing time}: Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days from purchase.  A few pieces are made to order and may take up to 5 days.  We do not ship on Saturday and Sunday. If you need it quicker please contact us.  We do our best to help out.  If there is something you are looking for that you don’t see, email us!  We can help you find it

{gift purchases}: Our jewelry is always packaged ready for gift giving.  If you would like to include a handwritten card, leave a note at checkout with instructions

{shipping}: We ship anywhere that does not prohibit jewelry being shipped. Domestic (US) and International orders are shipped via USPS Insured first class unless otherwise requested.  All purchases are shipped from Los Angeles, CA.  You will be notified via email when your order ships

{International shipping}: First Class & Priority packages going outside the US provide simple tracking information.  Please note that it will not track every step your package makes, but it will let you know when it’s been delivered.  If you require complete tracking up to actual delivery please purchase Global Express Priority. All international shipping is insured. *see also tax ~ international below

{tax ~ domestic}: orders shipped to CA residents will be charged 9.5% tax

{tax ~ International}: any duty, taxes or additional fees are not the responsibility of Chocolate and Steel.  Please be prepared to pay for custom and/or duties fees levied by the receiving country

{returns and exchanges}: returns and exchanges of unworn jewelry are accepted within 30 days of purchase.  Refunds will be credited back to your original form of payment. {care instructions}: Sterling silver should be stored in a closed container when not being worn. When your piece tarnishes you may use a silver tarnish dip. Do not use a polishing cloth
